This Old Bear Junior knife features a rounded tip for added safety. It is important to consider that this knife is very sharp, and young users must be supervised at all times when using it.
Technical aspects: Old Bear® knives feature a locking mechanism that is consistently smooth and, most importantly, equally effective in locking the blade in both open and closed positions. Moreover, it is important to note that the blade can be locked or unlocked with a right-handed user’s thumb finger. Contrary to one’s first impression, the protuberant locking knob is not in the way and doesn’t affect the use of the highly ergonomic handle.

Locking system: Chemical nickel-plated cold forged brass locking system. This patented system locks the blade closed or open – Lupo patents n.1187282. Nickel plating improves corrosion resistance and requires less maintenance than brass.
